TURN IT UP TUESDAY: What’s New In Stores This Week (June 18)

It’s a rapper’s delight this week as three of them go head-to-head on the charts. Only one can wrap themselves around the top spot. Here’s what is in stores this week, June 18:

  • Both his album and his new baby with Kim Kardashian leaked over the weekend, but that’s not going to stop Kanye West from being the highest new entry on next week’s album chart. His Yeezus is released today, one of the most-highly anticipated releases this summer. (iTunes)
  • Rapper J. Cole is out with his second album, Born Sinner, which features recent R&B hit “Power Trip” with Miguel and new single “Crooked Smile” with TLC. His last album debuted at #1 and was certified Gold. (iTunes)
  • Currently featured on Ariana Grande‘s hit “The Way”, Mac Miller serves up his second album, Watching Movies With The Sound Off. Two digital singles from the effort have charted just below the Hot 100. (iTunes)
  • Former Destiny’s Child singer and now solo artist Kelly Rowland is giving us lessons on how to Talk A Good Game this week. The effort features “Dirty Laundry” and “Kisses Down Low”. (iTunes)
  • Country cutie Hunter Hayes is back with an Encore edition of his self-titled debut album, which features the current Country radio single, “I Want Crazy”. (iTunes)
  • They took the world by storm with “Mmmbop” back in 1997. Now, Hanson return with their latest studio set, Anthem. (iTunes)
  • Pop and rap duo 3OH!3 are back with their third major label album and first in three years, Omens. (iTunes)
  • Other albums out this week include: BWB‘s Human Nature (iTunes), Delbert McClinton and Glen Clark‘s Blind, Crippled and Crazy (iTunes), a self-titled album by the LoCash Cowboys (iTunes) and Kveikur by Iceland’s Sigur Rós. (iTunes)

New digital-only singles that you can buy this week include:

  • “Best I Ever Had”, the first single from Gavin DeGraw‘s forthcoming album. (iTunes)
  • “Bourbon In Kentucky”, a new one from Dierks Bentley featuring background vocals from Kacey Musgraves. (iTunes)
  • “Made In America”, a new song from the family band Cimorelli. (iTunes)
  • “Ooh La La”, from the soundtrack to The Smurfs 2, from pop goddess Britney Spears. (iTunes)
  • “Paper Doll”, the highly anticipated new single from John Mayer. (iTunes)
  • “Woman’s World”, a return to music for legend Cher. (iTunes)
