From rock to folk and a little bit of pop, here’s your guide to this week’s new releases for February 26:

  • Biggest release of the week belongs to the supergroup knows as Atoms For Peace, a side project from Thom Yorke of Radiohead. It also features Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Amok is their debut release, which is available in a few different configurations in both physical and digital form. Look for it to be strong enough for a #1 debut next week. (iTunes)
  • Emmylou Harris has been making the album chart since 1975, but her most recent release in 2011 was her first to make the top 20. On this effort, she collaborates with fellow Country singer Rodney Crowell on Old Yellow Moon. Can it break the top ten? (iTunes)

  • Country group The Mavericks are back in attack with In Time, their first album in ten years. Lead single “Born To Be Blue” recently made the top 50 on the Country chart, their first since 1999. (AmazonMP3)
